The College is a semi-autonomous institution governed by the same board as that of the hospital. The board is chaired by Archbishop of Nyeri with membership drawn from various sectors and personalities of high standing in the society. Besides the provision of a strategic direction, the board also provides overall oversights to the college operations and strategic plans. The Board chairman appoints a director to ensures that the Board directives are implemented.
